Our Board

  • Justin Romaire

Justin Romaire is the founder of Foster Fit. Justin is a thriving adoptee which fuels his mission to provide foster teens and youth with consistency & normalcy. Growing up in a nurturing environment with his adoptive family, Justin was able to attend Yale University obtaining his MS in Organic Chemistry, start several businesses, become a CrossFit coach, and is now the founder of Foster Fit. He believes everyone is capable of participating in CrossFit and should benefit from an environment with community, love and leadership. In 2020, Justin decided to connect his two passions of foster care and CrossFit. Today Foster Fit provides multiple CrossFit gym memberships to foster teens. His passion is now reflected in building a team of others that also want teens in foster care to join Crossfit and get the same benefits we get from our gyms - love, consistency, community, health, and normalcy.

  • Katie Cook

Katie Cook currently serves as vice president. She found Foster Fit through her home CrossFit box, Mental Giants CrossFit, where her gym competed in the Foster Fit lifting competition to honor their boys. Since then, the Cooks have finalized their adoption and gone on to devote their lives to helping other foster families and foster youth find a place in community and fitness. Although Katie would consider being a mother her full-time job, she is a certified personal trainer, group trainer, and kettlebell level 1 and 2 coach. She volunteers by coaching adoptive and foster teens in Texas and beyond. Katie currently leads a support group of foster and adoptive families in Dallas. Outside of church and the gym, she likes to spend time coaching, playing sports, and hiking with her husband and their four sons.

  • Jenene Nagy

Born in the Bronx, NY, Jenene Nagy is a former foster youth and first-generation college graduate. She is an Associate Professor of Art at Los Angeles Valley College and a court-appointed special advocate (CASA) for foster youth in Riverside County. Nagy has been a member of the CrossFit community since 2012 and currently trains at Skyraider CrossFit in the beautiful Inland Empire region of sunny Southern California.

  • Trevor Visokay

Trevor Visokay is the secretary of FosterFit. He works in the banking industry and is a CrossFit level 1 coach. He joined FosterFit because the idea of sharing CrossFit with the world is exciting to him, especially with foster youth. CrossFit has changed many lives over the years and he is honored to be able to help others have the same experience.

  • Rebecca Green

Rebecca Green has served on the board of Foster Fit since January 2023. While living overseas working with teens in youth outreach centers, she saw first hand how important community and consistency was to the healthy development of young people. Early on in her experience as an athlete, she saw the unique opportunity that CrossFit gyms have to build strong communities of health and friendship. In 2019, Rebecca pursued her passion of creating that type of community by becoming a CrossFit coach, first in Europe and now in New Hampshire at CrossFit off the Green. Foster Fit has provided Rebecca an outlet for the lessons she gleaned from her experience working in youth centers, as a CrossFit coach, and as a mother of three boys. Community is her passion and she is excited to bring that passion into the Foster Fit community.

  • Nicole Laudano

Nicole Laudano is the treasurer of FosterFit. She graduated from Albertus Magnus College with a bachelor degree in business with a focus in Accounting. She is excited to bring both passions of Accounting & CrossFit to FosterFit.
